After a childhood filled with countless baking experiences from making Independence Day cakes to almond roca for Christmas, I acknowledge it was my parents’ nurturing that gave me a true appreciation for fine foods.  With their encouragement, I embarked on a culinary journey that would turn my passion into a baking and pastry career.

My education began at the Culinary Arts Program at Santa Barbara City College and continued at the California Culinary Academy, focusing on baking and pastries exclusively.  Having fallen in love with culinary arts, I graduated at the top of my class.

My professional experience includes tenure at an upscale Montecito, California restaurant, a high-end resort in Central California and decorating for a high volume wedding cake bakery, and serving as a pastry assistant at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and as a pastry chef at an exclusive Peninsula Golf & Country Club in California.

When not baking, I love to spend time with my husband and two precious daughters while developing new recipes and baking ideas.  I am grateful that I am able to practice an art that has brought me so much joy and gratification as my profession.
